What We Do
Special Engineering Services (SES) offers machining services for one-off or small batches of components , including pre-1950 Automotive Parts, Toolmaking , Precision and General Engineering. This is useful for those requiring prototypes, replacement (replica?) obsolete parts, or spares for elderly vehicles or machinery.
We can also modify existing parts. (for example: modern seals/bearings in water pumps - indistinguishable from outward appearance) .
We make parts to order, so hold only minimal stock.
This being particularly relevant to obsolete vehicle makes, of which there may be only a few examples.
To date, we have made items as diverse as laser components, parts for the electronics industry, press-tools and dentistry-related equipment. Although vintage and veteran automotive components form the major part of our business.
